We recently did another scrapbook class and had a lot of fun doing the pages.
Whenever I do scrapbook pages, I tend to get stuck in a rut as to the layout. So this time, I used some page maps from Pagemaps.com to give me different ideas for the layouts.
This is the first of my two-page layouts. When I do a scrapbook class, I always pick out one package of decorative paper and one scrapbook kit where the colors go together. For this class we used Jersey Shore Designer Series paper and the Summer Days Simply Scrappin' kit.
For the two-page layout, I did use my Cricut to do the title. I do really like the way the Cricut helps to add more to my page and I can still use my Stampin' Up! supplies.
For this page, I used one of my old standard layouts that I tend to use off and on. It just seemed to lend itself to the colors and pictures.
For the pages from this class, I even have all of the pictures from one place, our trip to Rock City near Chattanooga TN.
This is the second two-page layout. I always try to have two sets of double-page layouts and then the rest of the pages are single pages.
My oldest daughter got me started on scrapbooking eight years ago this month. I am so glad she did and it is definitely a way to use your creativity. I've learned a lot of things in the last eight years about scrapbooking. And I've gotten a lot of pages done since then. But I have so many more to do. Fortunately, doing scrapbooking classes helps me to knock out 10 pages in a fairly short time.
Don't forget to check back to see the rest of the pages that we did for our class.
