This was another fun page to do. But I decided to take my daughter's suggestion and add some dimension to it by using Crystal Effects on the flowers and leave son the lower left portion of the page. I had printed out the title on Vellum CS using the hex codes to match my page colors. I decided that I liked the idea of adding dimension and used some Crystal Effects on the title, too. The scallops were done using the corner rounder.

This was a fun but easy page to do. This page gave the members of the class a chance to try one of Stampin' Up!'s rub-ons. They also got to try out the Crop-a-dile. By using the Crop-a-dile, we were able to line the eyelets up straight across the bottom of the page with no problem. I also like use paper tearing on pages.

Sorry it took so long to get another page posted. I ended up getting really sick with the flu. This page was fun to put together. It definitely has a different look than most of my pages. As I was putting the pictures on the page, I realized that my flowers looked to plain. So I added some some little flowers to them with the VersaMark. I also outlined the brad with the VersaMarker to make the center of the flower stand out a little more, too. I did the same thing with the letters of Jenna's name, too, to add a little more to it so it wouldn't look so plain. We did the faux stitching around the large piece of Groovy Guave, which fit in real well with the ribbon.

Well, here's our second page from our May Scrapbooking Class. For the Scalloped Circle, I cut out the circle and used the corner rounder to make the scallops. The ribbon is covering up the area where I finished and it didn't match perfectly. I really like being able to have scallops on different parts of my pages and this was a new way for my customers to use them, too.

May Scrapbook Class Page 1 - Finally

Well, I finally started getting pictures on the pages from the May Scrapbooking Class. I didn't use any of the kits for this class. I used two different packages of DSP that had some similar colors in them. I didn't really mix the paper on the individual pages, but at least the colors for all of the pages went together.

I cut the title out with my Cricut. Then inked it up with the VersaMark ink pad and put Heat & Stick powder on it so that I could use some glitter. I meant to grab the Fine Cosmo glitter, but ended up grabbing the discontinued glitter that I had. I decided that I wasn't going to redo the title just because of the glitter color was a little different. The DSP used on this page is now discontinued, too, because it was in the last mini catalog. But I still wanted to show what we did at our last class.

This page was very simple and quick to put together.

CASED Card

I saw some cards that Andrea Walford made and just had to CASE this one. She always makes such lovely cards. I am so glad for ideas I can get from others when my creative juices have dried up. This is a very simple card to make, but adding the flower from the Pretties Kit definitely adds something to it.
